I studied parallels between Latin and English, connected history to the present day, and learned speech through the techniques of Cicero. I explored the adventures of Jason, read the poetry of Catullus, and followed in the steps of Caesar in the Gallic Wars. In my 4 years of Latin, Mrs. Zackey has given me many opportunities to grow, as a student but also, as a person. She has guided me to develop a better understanding of the world. Through the study of great leaders, such as herself, I have grown much further than I could have imagined.
