I chose Mrs. Light because out of all my teachers, I think she taught me the most valuable lesson I could learn in high school. Which is that its okay to fail. On a test. Or a lab. Or just in general. Failure isn’t worth dwelling on. I can’t be perfect all the time. I’ve got to pick myself up, brush it off, and get what I need done, well, done! Before meeting Mrs. Light, I struggled with that concept. After teaching me such an important lesson, she definitely is the only choice to be my mentor!
