I have selected Dr. Zorrilla as my mentor because of her kindness, intelligence, and compassion. Each day, she challenges us to do something to make the world a better place, to be curious, and to always do our best. Dr. Z approaches each day with enthusiasm and has challenged me to become a more involved and engaged world citizen. She understands how the pandemic has been difficult and isolating, so she makes our social and mental well beings a priority and has adapted with us. I chose Dr. Zorrilla because she challenges, encourages, and cares for each of her students.
