Outstanding Art Student Award

Kerrigan Klopp has a real passion for the arts. Her positivity and enthusiasm for art and creativity shines through the day-to-day tedium of a typical school day. She always goes above and beyond the project parameters and makes artwork that inspires her peers and her instructors.

Kerrigan encourages the people around her to do more interesting work and to try a little bit harder on their own work. She comes into the studio to work on her projects outside of class time and creates projects that are not required, purely because she loves to create.

When the high school faculty and administration needed someone skilled and reliable to lead a special mural project to inspire the entire school population, we immediately thought of Kerrigan. She was happy to take the lead on this project, working hard on her own time and after school to paint this special mural which greets our student body as they enter and leave our school cafeteria.

Lastly, Kerrigan has a spark that ignites the classroom atmosphere and makes our jobs as teachers fulfilling as we see one of our own spread such enthusiasm and positivity and set such high standards for herself and her work.

We a wish Kerrigan the best as she continues her education and we know she will do well in whatever field she decides to pursue.
