Michael H. Wise II Memorial Scholarship

Michael H. Wise, II was 32 years old when he was killed in the line of duty in June 2004 while serving as a Reading City Police Officer. As a way to celebrate his life and do good deeds in his name, Mike's friends, family, and co-workers created the Michael H. Wise, II Memorial Foundation, Inc. (Foundation).

Mike was a 1990 graduate Cedar Crest High School, a 1993 graduate of the Center for Emergency Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA and a 2002 graduate of the Reading Police Academy. He served the public first, as an EMT/Paramedic, and then, as a Police Officer. The Michael H. Wise, II Memorial Foundation, Inc. is honored to assist the next generation of emergency services heroes in achieving their goals in education and takes great pride in being able to help the community in Mike's name.
