Lena Naftzinger - Future Educator Award

Lena Tobias Naftzinger was a 1st grade teacher beginning in the 1920's. In 1968, she retired after 42 years as an elementary teacher, teaching over 1,500 students at the Green Point School, the Geary School and the Ebenezer School. A generous donation from Mrs. Naftzinger allows us to recognize multiple students a year. Mrs. Naftzinger believed in the power of education for all students. In memory of Lena's contribution to the Cornwall-Lebanon School District, the Lena Naftzinger Educator Award will be awarded to a senior students pursuing a degree in the education field.
