Lena Naftzinger - Achievement Award

Lena Tobias Naftzinger was a 1st grade teacher beginning in the 1920s. In 1968, she retired after 42 years as an elementary teacher, teaching over 1,500 students at the Green Point School, the Geary School and the Ebenezer School. A generous donation from Mrs. Naftzinger allows us to recognize multiple students a year. The Lena Naftzinger Achievement Award recognizes two senior students who are hard-working, determined, goal-oriented and who have demonstrated exemplary academic and social achievement within the Cedar Crest community.
