E. Jerry Brooks Academic Excellence in Sports Award

E. Jerry Brooks, was, a former principal of Penn Manor High School; however, it was his impact upon interscholastic sports in District III as a 31-year member of the Board of Directors that has established him as a leader in PA sports circles as he was noted for being a man on the cutting edge, always out front leading and supporting positive change. Throughout his tenure, Jerry never lost sight of the true reason that he dedicated all of his time and energy to serving on the committee to benefit all of those student athletes, male and female, who represent their schools in interscholastic sports while consistently stressing academic excellence and exemplary sportsmanship. On behalf of the District III Committee, they would like to extend congratulations to the recipients of these awards, and to all of Cedar Crest's student-athletes who represent Cedar Crest and District III so well throughout the year.
